asked the President of the Board of Trade (1) how much coal and steel, in terms of quantity and value, have been exported to the Continent of Europe during the last 12 months to the most convenient date;

(2) how much coal and steel, in terms of quantity and value, have been exported to Canada during the last 12 months to the most convenient date.

As the reply contains a number of figures, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate the information in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Could the Minister give us any idea, because I rather want those figures for the Debate if, later on, I am fortunate in catching your eye, Mr. Speaker.
