I beg to move, in page 2, line 20, to leave out "avoid," and to insert "prevent."This Amendment was suggested by the hon. and gallant Member for West Edinburgh (Lieut.-Commander Hutchison). It makes for greater clarity.
I am glad that the Government have seen fit to make this change of word. I agree with the Secretary of State that it will make for greater clarity.
