Up to that date the number of men registered as conscientious objectors was 62,655 representing about.77 per cent. From that date to the end of 1948 the number was 1,809 representing about.18 per cent. The total number of women registered as conscientious objectors was 2,555 representing.27 per cent, all earlier than June, 1945.
