asked the Minister of Health if he will extend the rule, which prevents a general practitioner from charging a fee to his National Health Service patients, to specialists also.

I have no evidence that consultants charge fees in these circumstances, but if my hon. Friend knows of any such cases I shall be glad to investigate them.
