asked the Minister of National Insurance when reciprocal arrangements will be completed with the Dominions, and other parts of the Empire, including the Channel Islands, for the benefits of National Insurance to be interchangeable.

The possibility of making reciprocal arrangements depends on the nature of the social service provisions in the country concerned. An agreement on family allowances has been made with New Zealand, and negotiations for other agreements are proceeding with Australia and New Zealand.
