asked the Minister of Labour what was the number of unemployed of each of the principal grades of the building industry on the nearest convenient date.

The following table gives the information desired:

Numbers of unemployed persons on the registers of employment exchanges in Great Britain at 15th May, 1950, whose last employment was in the building industry.
