asked the Minister of National Insurance what are the administrative difficulties which prevent her from abolishing the five-year time limit for miner's pneumoconiosis compensation.

I am not sure that the hon. Member appreciates that, as the Workmen's Compensation Acts have been repealed, further legislation—which would have to operate retrospectively—would be needed.
