asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware of the taxpayers' resentment at the advertising campaign for imported dates; and why it has been undertaken.

No complaints about these advertisements have been received by my Ministry. The object is to clear stocks so that the business of importing and selling dates may be returned to private traders.
