asked the, Minister of Health what arrangements he has made to implement the new regulations governing expenses in attending hospitals; and to what extent a test of means is involved.

These expenses are paid if the National Assistance Board, using its normal standards of assessment, certifies that the patient would otherwise suffer hardship.
