asked the Minister of Labour what proportion of seasonal agricultural workers, applying to employment exchanges in the Faversham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Medway towns areas, for alternative employment in their off-seasons have been placed since October, 1950.

The information desired by my hon. Friend is not available, but it is known that since 31st October approximately 300 women, who had worked for a time on the land during 1950, and who registered at the employment exchanges specified, have been placed in or found other employment.
