asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what were the amounts of Excess Profits Tax refunded by the Imperial Exchequer to individuals resident in Northern Ireland; and the amounts refunded to public and private companies respectively, registered there for each of the financial years during the period 1st April, 1945, to 31st March, 1950.

The following table shows the net amounts of Excess Profits Tax postwar refunds made in respect of tax assessed in Northern Ireland. Separate figures for public and private companies are not available.
