asked the Secretary of State for War how many rifles and of what types, have been sold to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Poland, each Balkan country, China and Egypt, respectively, for each year since 1945.

No rifles have been sold by my Department to any of these countries except Greece and Egypt. It would be contrary to practice to say how many have been sold to each of these countries.
