Smallpox Outbreak, Brighton

asked the Minister of Health how many persons were quarantined during the Brighton smallpox outbreak; and how many cases of smallpox occurred in each of the quarantined families.

My information is that 164 persons in private households were quarantined at some time during the outbreak, and that two cases of smallpox occurred in one of the families concerned.
