asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning if he will make a statement about the proposed water scheme for the Alstonwith-Garrigill rural district in the county of Cumberland.

The rural district council have been in negotiation with the Greenwich Hospital Trustees who—subject to the views of the lessees of the land—have just made an offer to lease certain water rights to the council.
