asked the Minister of Food if he is aware that his labelling division have recently objected to the words, "Net weight 5 ozs.," being printed on a food carton and have demanded that the letter, "s," be eliminated and the words "5 oz." substituted; and if he will eliminate such work and so enable the number employed in the labelling division to be reduced and expenditure to be saved.

My inquiries do not show that my Department have taken such action, but if the hon. Member has information to the contrary and cares to let me have details I will look into it.
