Colonel J. R. H. Hutchison
asked the Secretary of State for War what training areas large enough for the tactical handling of an armoured unit exist and are available at present in Scotland and England, respectively.
Mr. M. Stewart
In Scotland there is one training area suitable for tactical handling of armour, though it is primarily a range. In England there are three such areas.
