Lieut.-Colonel Lipton
asked the Minister of Transport on what date he referred to the Central Transport Consultative Committee the alteration of London fare stages and fares in relation thereto.

The date was 11th March, 1952.
Lieut.-Colonel Lipton
Will the hon. Gentleman ask this Committee to "Hurry along, please," and stop the victimisation of the travelling public in the London area that is going on?
Mr. Maclay
I understand that the Committee are dealing with the matter as fast as they can.
Mr. Ernest Davies
Can the hon. Gentleman say whether the report will be published by the Committee, and whether the House will be given an opportunity of considering it?
Mr. Maclay
I understand that the report will be submitted to me, and that it will be normal practice for it to be made available.
