asked the Minister of Food if he will take steps to make it obligatory on all tradesmen to wrap up all foodstuffs in clean white paper and to use scoops and tongs when handling loose or unwrapped food.

Bye-laws relating to clean wrapping and the avoidance of contamination have been adopted by almost all local authorities, upon whom the responsibility for administering the Food and Drugs Act rests.
