asked the Minister of Labour whether he has yet been approached with a view to a settlement of the strike among employees of British Overseas Airways Corporation; and what action he proposes to take.

This strike ended on Thursday, 20th July, when work was resumed on the basis of an agreement on the National Joint Council for Civil Air Transport. My officers were in touch with the Corporation and the trade unions concerned throughout the dispute and took part in the meetings which led to the agreement.
