asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when was the last occasion on which officers of his Department visited Onneley, near Crewe, in connection with the proposed land drainage scheme, for which his Department has offered a grant; and what was the nature of their report to his Department.

My drainage officer visited Onneley in May to discuss with one of the farmers details of other ditch improvements and learned when there that the people concerned in the joint ditching scheme which the hon. Member has in mind were still not all in agreement.
