asked the Lord Privy Seal what further progress has been made with the claim for compensation for Mr. Topham since this was discussed with the Cuban representatives in this country.

Pending the appointment of a new Cuban Ambassador in London this matter has been pursued by Her Majesty's Ambassador in Havana who raised it with the Cuban Foreign Minister on 9th February and again on 8th July.
