asked the Secretary of State for Air why he proposes to move No. 4 M.T. Squadron to North Weald rather than to Woolwich Arsenal.

New facilities and accommodation costing about £1 million would have to be provided for the Squadron at Woolwich Arsenal, whereas existing facilities and accommodation at Royal Air Force, North Weald, could be adapted for its use for about £127,000. Moreover, the roads around Woolwich Arsenal are less suitable for use by the more unwieldy of the Squadron's vehicles.
