Q7.

asked the Prime Minister if he has considered the representations submitted to him by the Victorian Society, and other organisations and individuals, on the possibility of saving from destruction the Doric portico at Euston station; if he has agreed to receive a deputation on this subject; and if he will cause the work of demolition to be delayed until he has met this deputation and considered the arguments that will be advanced by the Members of both Houses of Parliament and architectural and engineering experts composing it.

Yes. I have agreed to receive a deputation on this subject. Work is already in progress on the demolition of the flanking lodges, but this will not be extended to the main feaures of the Doric portico itself before I have seen the deputation.
