asked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty if he will state the number of naval officers since 1st January, 1955, who have been tried by courts-martial under circumstances where the Judge Advocate was neither a member of the Bar nor a qualified solicitor; where the officers on trial, if civilians, would have been tried by a criminal court; and where the officers on trial stood in jeopardy, if convicted, of imprisonment or dismissal from the service.
