Sandhurst Cadets

asked the Secretary of State for War what proportion of cadets at Sandhurst come from the Dominions, the Colonies and other countries, respectively.

8·3 per cent. come from independent Commonwealth countries, 3·5 per cent. from Colonies and Protectorates, and 2·3 per cent. from other countries. Some of these cadets are being trained for commissions in the British Army, but most are destined to serve in the forces of their own country.
