If the man had no other income and no dependants other than his wife the tax would be £613 10s. 0d., £1,201 0s. 0d. and £2,551 0s. 0d. for 1951–52 and £454 5s. 6d., £855 13s. 4d. and £1,891 5s. 8d. for 1960–61.
