asked the Minister of Health if he is satisfied that the working week of 44 hours for nursing staff is being maintained; what supplementary staff is necessary to sustain the 44-hour week; and whether he will make a statement.

The great majority of nurses are working the 88-hour fortnight. Exceptions are steadily diminishing.
