My local officers have been informed of two current redundancies in the steel industry. One is at Johnson's Iron and Steel Mill, West Bromwich, where 30 men became unemployed on 22nd November; the other is at Richard Thomas and Baldwin's works at Ebbw Vale, where 250 men are likely to be affected. My officials will do everything they can to assist those who need help in finding other work.
