That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the practice of the House relating to the matters which may be included in Finance Bills, provision may be made in any Finance Bill of the present Session for raising the limits imposed on friendly societies by Act of Parliament (or of the Parliament of Northern Ireland), or by their rules, as respects the sums which they may assure by way of annuity or otherwise, including any supplemental and incidental provisions.—[The Chancellor of the Exchequer.]
