asked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources what steps he is taking to meet the need for more camping and caravan sites, as outlined in Command Paper No. 2928.

My right hon. Friend he Minister of Housing and Local Government has written to selected planning authorities drawing their attention to the need for more transit camping and caravan sites and indicating possible areas for action. The Bill which will be introduced to give effect to the proposals in he White Paper will provide for a 75 per cent. grant for the creation of such sites in special cases.
