asked the Attorney-General what interval of time occurred between the sentencing of Cambridge University students in respect of anti-Greek demonstrations and the hearing of their appeal; and what is the average interval in comparable cases.

The answer to the first part of the question is 45 days. I cannot give a precise answer to the second part, because no two cases are really comparable. But the interval, in short-sentence cases, between notice of appeal and hearing varies between three weeks and three months, dependent to some extent upon the rapidity with which the convicted defendants put in notice of appeal.
