asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many days were lost through strikes in 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970, respectively, expressed as a proportion of working days in Great Britain, the United States of America, the Republic of Ireland, Australia and Belgium, respectively, from information available to him from international sources.

I regret I am unable to give the information in the form requested by the hon. Member. The only relevant statistical information available to the Secretary of State from international sources is given below:
