asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement describing the additional machinery he will set up to ensure the take-up of the additional £25 million a year to be expended through the Local Employment Acts as envisaged in Command Paper No. 4516.

Appropriate publicity will be given to the increase in assistance for industry: additional machinery will not be required.
