asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what steps she is taking to provide additional secondary school places in Halifax, in view of the estimated deficiency of 300 places by 1975.

We are considering submissions received from the local education authority within the last fortnight in which they gave detailed estimates of the shortage expected and made proposals for meeting it.
