asked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps his Department is taking to assist workers declared redundant as the result of the decision not to go ahead with the BAC311 project.

So far no redundancies have been notified to my Department. However, we are in close touch with the Management of B.A.C. and will give every possible help to any employees affected by the cancellation of the BAC311 project.
