Mr. Arthur Lewis
asked the Prime Minister whether he will discuss with the leaders of the Labour and Liberal Parties the composition of the future British delegations to the European Parliament so as to ensure that the practice of sending different Members from time to time is adopted as a general practice by each of the political parties.

It would be premature to undertake such discussions until the results of the negotiations with the European Communities are known.
