asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is satisfied with the number of jobs currently in prospect in Wales; what detailed proposals he has to make in this connection; and if he will make a statement.

I am not satisfied with the prospects I inherited but the policies of this Government are directed to improving the economic prospects of Wales, as of other parts of Britain.

The information, which relates to schemes costing over £100,000, is as follows:
