Mr. William Price
asked the Secretary of State for Employment why all the literature, prescribed and approved notices and registers required under the Abrasive Wheels Regulations, 1970, were not made available when the Regulations were made on 1st April 1970, and, in particular, the revised edition of Health and Safety at Work Booklet No. 4; and if he is aware of the considerable difficulty this continued delay in publication is causing industry at a time when it is preparing for the coming into force of the Regulations on 2nd April, 1971; and if he will take action to remedy the position.
