asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she is aware that many schools are without medical examination rooms; if she will make it a condition of approval of capital expenditure that such rooms are provided for all schools and medical suites for large comprehensive schools; and if she will make a statement.

No. Statute requires that in schools maintained by local education authorities, suitable accommodation shall be immediately available at any time during school hours for medical inspection or treatment.
