asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will make a statement on the projects for the improvement or replacement of primary schools in the Northern Region to be included in the building programme for 1970–71, 1971–72, and 1972–73, respectively.

There will be 13 primary improvement projects in 1970–71 worth £1·1 million, 26 in 1971–72 worth £1·9 million and 39 in 1972–73 worth £3·3 million.
