Mr. Iremonger
asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what decision has now been taken regarding arrangements to secure the preservation as a naval museum moored off Greenwich of H.M.S. "Belfast".
Mr. van Straubenzee
No proposal has been put to my noble Friend for mooring H.M.S. "Belfast" off Greenwich as a naval museum. He is considering a scheme for mooring the ship at Devon-port. He hopes to take a decision shortly.
