asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is aware that the Appeal Court's decision in the case of Crouch and Lees v. Haridas has not clarified the position regarding illegal practices carried out by certain estate agents contrary to the Accommodation Agencies Act, 1953; and whether he will take action to deal with this anomaly, if need be by legislation.
