asked the Attorney-General if he will list the number of decrees nisi and decrees absolute granted and refused to the latest convenient date of the current year and the comparable figure for the equivalent period in 1970, the number granted and refused under Section 2(1)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (e), respectively, of the Divorce Reform Act, 1969, and the number of applications made and dismissed under Section 6 of the Act.

I regret that the information for which the hon. Member has asked is not yet available though much of it will become so in March, 1972, when annual returns will have been made by the courts and processed by computer. I will write to the hon. Member at that time.
