asked the Prime Minister if he will delay the signing of the Treaty of Accession to the European Economic Community until the conclusion of the negotiations between the European Economic Community and Norway on the subject of fisheries.

I have been asked to reply.No. We expect to sign instruments of accession to the Treaties of the Com munities on 22nd January. It remains our hope that Norway will be able to sign, and to join the Communities, at the same time as the United Kingdom.
