Road Accident (Catherine Larkin)

asked the Attorney-General whether he has received the communication from the hon. Member for West Ham, North showing that Catherine Larkin, a 13-year-old-girl, has died as a result of injuries which occurred from a road accident involving a hit-and-run driver and that this motorist was driving without either insurance or road tax; and whether he will request the Director of Public Prosecutions to institute criminal proceedings.

I understand that police investigations into this matter are continuing.
