asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many copies of the leaflet "Help with travelling expenses to hospitals for patients and visitors" have been ordered by hospitals, and how many by social security offices since it was published in May 1973.

78,000 have been ordered, mainly by hospitals, but also by a few voluntary organisations. The main purpose of the leaflet was, however, to serve as a basis for locally produced material. My Department's local offices do not use this leaflet but make the same information available in other ways.
