asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he accepts the conclusions of the Lovejoy Report of the Professional Institutions Council for Conservation with its recommendation for 100 per cent. Government grants for reclamation of derelict land; and if he will make a statement.

The derelict land arrangements are kept under review and due account is being taken of the suggestions made in the report by the Professional Institutions Council for Conservation. As regards the recommendation on the rate of grant and the proposal for a statutory register of derelict land, I have nothing to add to the answers given on 19th December 1974 to the hon. Member for Rochdale (Mr. Smith).—[Vol. 883, c. 596.]
