asked the Secretary of State for Trade what action he has taken since March 1974 to combat dumping of goods by foreign countries in the United Kingdom.

Since March 1974 two provisional charges to duty have been imposed under the Customs Duties (Dumping and Subsidies) Act 1969. A number of applications for anti-dumping action are currently under consideration.
