asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will provide figures on the number of mentally handicapped persons who are unemployed in the area of the metropolitan borough of Knowsley.

About 50 mentally handicapped persons are currently known by the disablement resettlement officers at the Kirkby, Garston and Prescot employment offices to be unemployed.
