asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many NHS clinics provide hormone replacement therapy; and if she will list them in the Official Report.

It is open to any general practitioner to prescribe hormone replacement therapy or, if he thinks it clinically necessary, to refer a patient to an appropriate specialist department in the hospital service.
